Cases where a visa is not required

Nationals of the following countries are allowed to enter Thailand without a visa for a tourist stay of less than 30 days by air or 15 days by land (30 days for G7 countries: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan).
However, the total duration of stay in Thailand, once obtained without a visa, cannot exceed 90 days within a period of 6 months.

Tourist visa

The tourist visa is issued for tourist purposes. The tourist visa is valid for 3 months after the date of filing, and it gives the right to a stay of 60 days from the date of arrival in Thailand. Please note, once you have left Thai territory, the visa is automatically canceled even if the applicant only spends one day in Thailand. Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV)

The multiple-entry tourist visa is available to tourists of all nationalities residing and working in France. The validity of the visa is six (6) months and the length of stay is sixty (60) days per visit.

Nonimmigrant visa O

This type of visa does not allow you to work and gives the right to stay in Thailand for a stay of 90 days (the visa entitles you to a single entry into Thai territory. Any exit from the territory results in the cancellation of the visa and requires a new application for issuance to re-enter Thai territory). The holder of this visa can extend or change the type of visa once entered Thailand at the immigration department.
The O Visa is intended, among others, for people over the age of 50 wishing to live in Thailand for a long time, and arriving in Thailand, the O visa will be transformed into an OA within three months at the immigration service.

Visa O-A (Long stay)

The OA Visa is intended for retired people over the age of 50. This type of visa does not allow you to work and gives the right to stay in Thailand for one year. For each entry, if the stay exceeds 3 months, the holder must report to the immigration service. The holder of this visa can extend it at the immigration service.

ED Nonimmigrant Visa
